These suggestions relate to the UK, in other countries you will need to use an internet search engine to locate the equivalent information. UK On-Line The website of the British Association for Sexual Health and HIV provides an online directory of specialist STI clinics in the UK. Click here. Telephone directories (white pages, business section, or under the name of the local hospital). In the UK the addresses and phone number of clinics are listed under "Sexual Health", "Sexually transmitted diseases" or occasionally "Genito-Urinary Medicine". You can phone your local hospital to find out what the UK organisations or charities. (For dialling from within the country). National AIDS helpline. 0800 567 123 (toll free within the UK, except for some mobile phone networks). Run by the charity Avert, this gives advice about HIV, AIDS, sexual health, local services, clinics and support services.
